This presentation will cover winter sowing as a simple and cost-effective method for starting seeds outdoors during the winter. By utilizing recyclable containers like milk jugs or soda bottles, you can create mini-greenhouses that protect seedlings until spring. There will be a presentation and a hands-on activity for winter sowing.

About the library

Chinn Park Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room, two individual study rooms, a group study room with a smart TV, a Children and Young Adult area, and 24 public access computers.

The Management and Government Information Center (MAGIC) is a specialized collection of local, state and federal government information. MAGIC has the same hours of operation as Chinn Park. MAGIC staff are available to assist with local, state and federal government information as well as with its print and digital resources.
