Sign up to participate in a mock citizenship naturalization interview.
Are you interested in becoming a United States citizen? The Chinn Park Library will be holding mock citizenship naturalization interviews at selected times. Interviewers from CASA and AmeriCorps will conduct the interviews and give feedback. Please note that these interviews are only meant as practice for the official naturalization interview.
Mock interviews will take place in the community room. Please be advised that complete privacy may not be possible. If you are asked a question that you would prefer not to answer, just let the interviewer know, and they will skip it.
You will need to complete an N-400 Application for Naturalization and bring it with you on the day of your interview. Please note that some of the questions on the N-400 are personal. Because this is only a mock interview, you do not need to answer a question that makes you uncomfortable. However, if you complete an official naturalization interview, you will need to answer every question completely and honestly.
Chinn Park Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room, two individual study rooms, a group study room with a smart TV, a Children and Young Adult area, and 24 public access computers.
The Management and Government Information Center (MAGIC) is a specialized collection of local, state and federal government information. MAGIC has the same hours of operation as Chinn Park. MAGIC staff are available to assist with local, state and federal government information as well as with its print and digital resources.
