Honor the rich tapestry of Hispanic and Latino culture and identity in poetry. Join us at the Manassas Museum to enjoy readings by local poets followed by a participatory poetry discussion and Latino dance performance.

This program is presented as part of Latino Poetry: Places We Call Home, a major public humanities initiative taking place across the nation in 2024 and 2025, directed by Library of America and funded with generous support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The poetry discussion will be facilitated and based on a selection of poems from the project reader for the Library of America publication Latino Poetry edited by Rigoberta González.

Celebrate National Poetry Month! Express yourself in English, Spanish, or a blend of both languages as we delve into themes of culture, identity, history, and community.

Refreshments provided. Adults and teens welcome.
