Interested in participating in a 24-Hour Comic Day but don't feel you're ready? This is your chance to practice and get ready. Challenge yourself to complete a page in a little more than an hour.
Have you been interested in participating in a 24-Hour Comic Day challenge but felt you would be unprepared for it? Is the concept new to you and you need some context to find out what it is about? Come to this practice session where you will do a very abbreviated version of the challenge.
Rather than completing 24 pages and a cover for a comic book over the course of 24 hours, complete a page in 2 hours. In nearly double the amount of time and significantly less fatigue start from scratch to do a single page of comic or sequential art. Challenge yourself to come up with an idea, plot it to the page, and complete it before time is up. See if you can complete the challenge or have a noble failure.
Basic supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own if there is something specific you like to use.
Registration recommended.
