Fly to our Flower Fairy Festival for revelry and camaraderie. Celebrate beautiful blooms as we say farewell to summer and welcome autumn. Faye crafts, unicorn rides, fairy hair, and accoutrement.
Faye folk of all ages are invited to adorn their most festive costumes and fly to our Flower Fairy Festival for revelry and camaraderie. Come celebrate the beautiful blooms in the pollinator garden as we say farewell to summer and welcome to autumn. Go on a unicorn ride and take a picture with your noble steed. Add some sparkle to your aesthetic with strands of fairy hair. Wings, flower crowns, and wands for fairies who forget theirs, while supplies last. Craft a pressed flower bookmark and refill your pixie dust. Chalk the walk and create a community mural of flowers. Montclair Garden Club will be here to answer your floral quandries. Gnomes, elves, kings, queens, princesses, princes, jesters, knights, unicorns, and all friends of the fairy realm are welcome (except trolls). How could so much fantastical fun be free? With the generous support of the Friends of Montclair Community Library of course!
Montclair Library serves a bustling suburban community in eastern Prince William County. With large glass windows and a stone terrace suited for outdoor performances, the LEED-certified building offers inviting spaces for children, young adults, and adults, including 22 public access computers, a PS5 gaming station, and a fireplace in the reading room.
Library grounds are also home to a restored 19th century historic property known as the Barnes House, an important part of the county’s rich African-American heritage.
Montclair’s community room offers seating for up to 100 people and a large-screen TV for presentations. There are four group study rooms. An individual quiet study room is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
