You are invited to a special After Hours "Rowdy" screening of "The Minecraft Movie". Enjoy popcorn, drinks and come ready to quote along and cheer as loud as you like. For Tweens/Teens in Grades 4-12.

This special "The Minecraft Movie: Rowdy Screening" is a lot like a regular movie screening but you don't have to contain your excitement! The library will be closed to the public so loud, infectious enthusiasm is highly encouraged. We ask that attendees please respect library property, library staff, and fellow movie goers' personal space. The Library Code of Conduct will be enforced. 

Enjoy complimentary popcorn and fun accessories to enjoy the movie with!

Tweens/Teens can be dropped off or arrive between 5:00-5:30pm and must be picked up by 7:45pm. The movie will start promptly at 5:30pm. 

Parents must sign a permission slip at drop off.

About the library

Haymarket Gainesville Library features a 24-hour book drop, 185-seat community room, four study rooms, a Quiet Study area, 21 public access computers, and a Children’s and Young Adult area. The library has a historic home, The Bushy House, and several comfortable outdoor seating areas on its property.

Haymarket Gainesville Library provides materials for children, young adults, and adults in print and digital formats. In addition, the library also offers special events and programs for all ages, including English Conversation Club, book discussion groups, one-on-one appointments for technology assistance, and U.S. Passport Services.

Several times a year, Haymarket Gainesville Library hosts absentee voting for local, state, and federal elections and is the only branch offering this special service.
