The Prince William County Department of Social Services Public Assistance Division and Prince William Public Libraries have partnered together to bring social services information and assistance to select libraries! We’re offering help with:

• Connection to other community programs and resources.
All information is confidential. Walk-ins are welcome and will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Independent Hill Library was the sixth library. With its mid-county location, Independent Hill is a bridge that serves both the eastern and western ends of the county. Nestled inside George Hellwig Park, the library’s pastoral setting includes a pavilion with seating and free Wi-Fi access.
The library's collection consists of books, DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers and learning tablets for all ages and interests. Independent Hill offers two public access computers, scanning, copying, and faxing services. There are several comfortable chairs with laptop trays and two study tables with chairs for patron’s convenience. Story times are offered throughout the year.
