Celebrate the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans through POETRY!
Express yourself in English, Spanish, or a blend of both languages. Choose themes such as culture, identity, history, and community. All types of poetry are welcome.
1st prize = $100
2nd prize = $50
Winners will be announced November 3rd.
COMPETITION RULES:
· The contest begins on Monday, September 15, 2025 and ends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
· Competitors may submit only one entry. Send your best!
· Spanish and multilingual poetry is welcome. Please provide English translations for the judges.
· Entries will be judged on:
Relevance to Hispanic Heritage themes including but
not limited to: Community, Culture, History, and Identity.
Creativity,
Emotional Impact, and
Technique which includes structure and grammar.

Manassas City Library is the 12th and newest library. It opened on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. This new location helps bring library services closer to the Manassas City community. Within its 6,000 square feet, the new branch provides 12 public access computers, programming for all ages, study rooms, and houses about 15,000 books and other resources. Manassas City Library is conveniently located in the Wellington Station Shopping Center, close to groceries, banks, restaurants, and more.
