Join up with friends, family, or others to compete in a jigsaw puzzle contest! Teams of 4 people will compete to finish identical 500-piece puzzles in the least amount of time. Every participant will need to register, and those without a set team will be grouped into empty spots. Space is limited to 24 spots, so register early. Registration is open starting on December 13, 2025.

Haymarket Gainesville Library features a 24-hour book drop, 185-seat community room, four study rooms, a Quiet Study area, 21 public access computers, and a Children’s and Young Adult area. The library has a historic home, The Bushy House, and several comfortable outdoor seating areas on its property.
Haymarket Gainesville Library provides materials for children, young adults, and adults in print and digital formats. In addition, the library also offers special events and programs for all ages, including English Conversation Club, book discussion groups, one-on-one appointments for technology assistance, and U.S. Passport Services.
Several times a year, Haymarket Gainesville Library hosts absentee voting for local, state, and federal elections and is the only branch offering this special service.
