Calling all beginner crocheters! If you're looking for a beginner friendly crochet class to make an easy holiday gift, this class is for you! Cecily from SkeinWreck Studio will be hosting a 1.5hr crochet class to teach you how to make a mug cozy! For teens and adults. Registration required.

About the library

Dale City Library serves the communities of Dale City and Woodbridge. The library provides print and digital materials for all reading levels, as well as books on CD, movies and learning tablets. Additionally, the building offers five public access computers, scanning, copying, and faxing services.

Dale City Library hosts a variety of programs, including weekly story times, monthly LEGO(®) building events, and monthly Pokémon fan days. The children’s area mural, themed “Reaching for the Stars through the World of  Reading,” pays homage to the seven Challenger astronauts who died the same year the library opened. The branch’s rain garden features plants native to Virginia and holds a clue pointing the curious to the building’s geocache location.
