Find a spot on the floor and get ready to 'say and play' with babies and toddlers. We are going to bounce, move and tickle our way through rhymes, songs and books. Get ready to wiggle!
Babies and toddlers are learning every minute they are awake. They learn to make sounds when they watch your face as you talk to them. They learn the rhythm of language as you bounce and rhyme with them. They learn to hear individual words when you sing and slow language down for them. They learn that objects still exist even when they can't see them when you play peek-a-boo. They learn to predict outcomes when you tickle them or swoosh them into the air after a fun rhyme.
And, babies & toddlers love books!
Welcome to our Baby and Toddler Wiggle Time. Find a spot on the floor and get ready to 'say and play' with baby. We are going to bounce, move and tickle our way through rhymes, songs and books.
It is nice if you are able to have a scarf, shaker, small toy and some bubbles close to hand. We often use these things during our Wiggle Time and they are fabulous distraction tools anytime.
