Do you love cats? Do you love crafting? Why not put the two together! Join HG's resident cat-lady librarian as she shows you how to make DIY cat toys for your feline friends. You will also hear about a great local animal shelter, as well as learn some fun cat-related trivia. Space is limited, so please register by June 13th. Haymarket Gainesville Library features a 24-hour book drop, 185-seat community room, four study rooms, a Quiet Study area, 21 public access computers, and a Children’s and Young Adult area. The library has a historic home, The Bushy House, and several comfortable outdoor seating areas on its property.
Haymarket Gainesville Library provides materials for children, young adults, and adults in print and digital formats. In addition, the library also offers special events and programs for all ages, including English Conversation Club, book discussion groups, one-on-one appointments for technology assistance, and U.S. Passport Services.
Several times a year, Haymarket Gainesville Library hosts absentee voting for local, state, and federal elections and is the only branch offering this special service.
