Join a speaker from Plant NOVA Natives and learn what plants are native to our area, how you can use them in your garden, and the benefits of doing so. Whether you have acres, a balcony, or a window box, there's a native plant to meet your needs - and provide value to countless species.
Plant NOVA Natives is the Northern Virginia chapter of Plant Virginia Natives. Their mission is to encourage individuals and businesses to plant native species, creating valuable habitats for wildlife, and restoring our ecosystem. Haymarket Gainesville Library features a 24-hour book drop, 185-seat community room, four study rooms, a Quiet Study area, 21 public access computers, and a Children’s and Young Adult area. The library has a historic home, The Bushy House, and several comfortable outdoor seating areas on its property.
Haymarket Gainesville Library provides materials for children, young adults, and adults in print and digital formats. In addition, the library also offers special events and programs for all ages, including English Conversation Club, book discussion groups, one-on-one appointments for technology assistance, and U.S. Passport Services.
Several times a year, Haymarket Gainesville Library hosts absentee voting for local, state, and federal elections and is the only branch offering this special service.
