Join us to learn chess or to enjoy a game!

Join the Chinn Park Chess Club.  This is a chance to enjoy a game or ask an experienced player for help getting started.  All ages and all skill levels are welcome.  Just bring your enthusiasm (and a board if you are partial).

Once you are ready, it is recommended you writing supplies to learn chess notation.

About the library

Chinn Park Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room, two individual study rooms, a group study room with a smart TV, a Children and Young Adult area, and 24 public access computers.

The Management and Government Information Center (MAGIC) is a specialized collection of local, state and federal government information. MAGIC has the same hours of operation as Chinn Park. MAGIC staff are available to assist with local, state and federal government information as well as with its print and digital resources.
