Welcome the 501st Legion in our celebration of all things Star Wars! With games, trivia, lightsaber training and a special Star Wars Story Time, this is an all ages event that you won't want to miss!

That's no moon... That's the Manassas City Library Star Wars Day!

Join your friends at the library for a day of Star Wars fandom and fun. We will have Star Wars activities, crafts, and trivia for all ages, as well as a Lightsaber Training and a special Star Wars Story Time! Members of the local Garrison of the 501st will be here to talk about their costumes and to take pictures! So, dress up, hop into your speeder, and come have fun!

Lightsaber Training: 2 sessions of lightsaber training will be available for children on a first come, first serve basis. Trainings will take place at 2:00 and 2:30 PM.

Star Wars Story Time: Join a special Star Wars Story Time at 3:00 PM in the library's children's area.

About the library

Manassas City Library is the 12th and newest library. It opened on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. This new location helps bring library services closer to the Manassas City community. Within its 6,000 square feet, the new branch provides 12 public access computers, programming for all ages, study rooms, and houses about 15,000 books and other resources. Manassas City Library is conveniently located in the Wellington Station Shopping Center, close to groceries, banks, restaurants, and more.
