Learn about various ways scammers obtain our Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and explore why so many of us become victims of scams.

During this presentation, presenters will identify how a scam is “constructed” by pointing out common elements contained in almost all scams. This presentation will cover the construction of over 80% of the frauds that are occurring today.

About the library

Chinn Park Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room, two individual study rooms, a group study room with a smart TV, a Children and Young Adult area, and 24 public access computers.

The Management and Government Information Center (MAGIC) is a specialized collection of local, state and federal government information. MAGIC has the same hours of operation as Chinn Park. MAGIC staff are available to assist with local, state and federal government information as well as with its print and digital resources.
