Financial Aid Officers will be visiting Manassas City Library to provide one-on-one assistance and answer questions about submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Need money for college? Financial Aid Officers from Northern Virginia Community College’s Manassas Campus will be visiting Manassas City Library to provide one-on-one assistance and answer questions about submitting your FAFSA for the 2023-2024 school year.

To receive assistance please be sure to bring the following items:

  • A personal laptop.
  • Your Social Security Number
  • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
  • Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
  • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
  • A USB


IMPORTANT: If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

Registration is not required. Walk-ins are welcome.

*Desktop computers will be available for public use.

About the library

Manassas City Library is the 12th and newest library. It opened on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. This new location helps bring library services closer to the Manassas City community. Within its 6,000 square feet, the new branch provides 12 public access computers, programming for all ages, study rooms, and houses about 15,000 books and other resources. Manassas City Library is conveniently located in the Wellington Station Shopping Center, close to groceries, banks, restaurants, and more.
