Don't throw that out yet! Bring your mending pile and we will work together to make our clothes last longer.
The purpose of this monthly program is to get together with like-minded neighbors to mend our clothing in order to make them last longer. You will be helping the environment and your finances! We will have a topic "expert" available each month who will be at hand to assist you. This month, the topic is sewing a hem, but you can work on anything in your mending pile. Bring the items you want to mend and your sewing box. We will have some hand needles, scissors, and basic thread colors and buttons available. Tea and cookies will be provided.
