We have had so much interest in quilting here at the HIVE that we are starting a block of the month club this summer. Let's learn our 9-patch from our log cabins together and make a BIG statement as we learn the basic techniques of piecing some simple blocks. Each month we'll learn a new block to sew. Basic sewing knowledge is necessary. We can sign you up for a sewing class if you need to learn in order to participate. You can use the materials kit supplied by the makerspace or bring 4 fat quarters of your own if you have color preferences. Registration required.

The second library to be built in Prince William County, the Bull Run Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room and a Children’s and Young Adult area, 24 public access computers, and free Wi-Fi.
