Come for a lesson about the core principles of self-defense and actions you can take to avoid troubles or respond to conflict if it becomes unavoidable.

We all consider that situations may arise that put us in a danger of some kind; perhaps with a threat of physical violence. If you are looking for the first steps to prepare for such a scenario, this program is for you.

Trainers from American Drengr Krav Maga will teach some of the basics of self-defense. Learn how to identify potentially dangerous situations and steps to take to avoid them. Learn techniques that can be employed when violence become inevitable. At the conclusion of this class you should have the beginnings of understanding for practical self-defense and know what to examine if you feel you need further training.

Dress to move and wear comfortable shoes. Participants will need to sign a Prince William Public Libraries liability waiver. Participants will need to sign an American Drengr Krav Maga waiver or fill one out online.
