English as a Second Language (ESL)

Formal Language Instruction

This class requires a placement test conducted by the Literacy Volunteers of Prince William. Please call 703-670-5702 for more information and to register.

Students must register through the Literacy Volunteers office for the class.  Please call 703-670-5702 for more information and also to register.  No walk-ins allowed.

Before enrolling in the class, students must complete an assessment that measures English reading-writing language skills. The assessment is conducted at the Literacy Volunteers of Prince William office and is about 3 hours long. There is a $100 charge for the assessment. The ESL class itself is at no cost to learners.

The second library to be built in Prince William County, the Bull Run Library features a 24-hour book drop, 125-seat Community Room, a Quiet Study Room and a Children’s and Young Adult area, 24 public access computers, and free Wi-Fi.
